Our Team
Llana Sartain,
LEED AP ID&C
From bussing tables at age 14 to earning her degree from the Savannah College of Art and Design, Llana has learned that style, grace, and always following your intuition are the best ways to approach life. She let those notions guide her when she founded Level Design Studio, ensuring a hands-on, collaborative approach to design.
Born in Santa Fe, NM, Llana is proud to call Atlanta, GA her home. When not producing amazing designs, you may find her on an early morning hike around the lake at Stone Mountain, relaxing with her husband, mike, and son, lennon.
Francisco Montiel
Originally from Venezuela, Francisco attended undergrad in Maracaibo before moving to the US to pursue a graduate degree in architecture at Georgia Tech. He’s excited to bring his 16 years of experience in hospitality, multi-family and residential architecture as well as 12 years experience in interior design to the Level Design team.
Francisco thrives in a collaborative environment and loves to be a part of minority and female-led groups. He still remembers his first job in the industry—which he had for 10 years!—so fondly. Working for minority-owned Rossini Architects, he learned so much from Maria Rossini—an immigrant to the US from the Philippines who had studied at Berkley and lived on a hippie commune!
When not producing amazing designs, Francisco travels as much as he can and loves spending time with friends and family (especially at the beach!). You can probably find him working out outdoors or geeking out about commercial aviation or airliners.
Sean Key,
Registered Architect
Sean Key is excited to bring his studio, Sean Key Design, to collaborate with Level Design Studio. Sean received his Bachelor of Architecture from Louisiana State University before settling in Atlanta, GA. Together, Level Design Studio and Sean Key Design offer a hands-on approach from space planning and schematic design through procurement and construction administration. Specializing in multi-family, hospitality, and residential design, they create spaces that are exciting and invigorating with a focus on accessibility, sustainability, and usability.
Andrew Forrest Baker
A Georgia native, Andrew is excited to bring his graphic design, writing, and art background to the Level Design team. Whether he’s designing custom fabrics and wall-coverings to ensure each Level project is unique and truly speaks to its location or he’s utilizing his storytelling skills to create fully realized concepts for branding and marketing, Andrew has a passion for finding and celebrating the obscure, overlooked, strange, and beautiful. He also loves putting things together, which comes in really handy on install days.
When not designing fabrics or marketing plans, Andrew usually still has his head in a notebook or computer. He’s a published author with works published by April Gloaming Publishing and Parlyaree Press and received his degree in writing from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. He co-hosts the popular Gentlemen Of… Podcast.
